Observatory Public Night
Canceled Public
Free Public Stargazing at our Astronomy Education Center
Join us at our observatories to view the night skies through our 16 inch telescope, or see them on a TV screen with our 12.5 inch telescope. Or better yet, do both!
There are several galaxies, nebula (huge clouds of gas and dust), and some planets that are viewable.
We can also point out some constellations and asterisms, like the Big Dipper seen in the photo below (taken in Iceland, which is why it’s so high in the sky).
This event is open to the public and free of charge.
