The Milky Way Project: Probling Star Formation with a New Yellowball Catalog
Presenter: Dr. Grace Wolf-Chase, Adler Planetarium
The Milky Way Project is a citizen science effort to identify and catalog objects captured in deep images of the plane of our galaxy, and it has turned up many previously “uncharted” things. Dr. Wolf-Chase will bring us up to date on the effort, and how it has changed our view of some aspects of star formation.
The public is welcome to attend, free of charge.
This event is open to the public and free of charge.
