Exoplanets Close to Their Stars

The search for planets around stars other than our Sun has found many that orbit close to their star — closer than Earth is to the Sun. Associate Professor Fabrycky will tell us about the current theories of the formation of such systems, and how dynamic modeling informs us about what the planets are like.
