Observatory Public Night

We’ll be passing Mars in our orbits around the Sun this month, getting as close to the “Red Planet” as we do every 780 or so days (2+ years). This makes for the best time to view our little neighbor. Come out and take a look thru our fine telescopes, and see if you can spot any details on the face of Mars, on the night of our closest approach! Families are welcome, and the event, as always, is free of charge. Bring layers of clothing to add as it cools off.

This event is open to the public and free of charge.
