Monthly Meeting

The Cassini probe has been orbiting Saturn since 2004; in that time, it has sent back data and photos which have revolutionized our understanding of that planet, its rings, and its moons. This year, the mission comes to an end, with a “bang”: a controlled plunge of the spacecraft through the rings and into the planet’s atmosphere.
Professor DalSanto will share with us many of the major findings from the mission, including the latest ones from the days right up to the evening of the presentation!

The public is welcome to attend, free of charge.

This event is open to the public and free of charge.
