Astronomy Fundamentals

Making the Most of your Membership
Presenter: Drew Carhart
Over the 50+ years of its existence, our club has developed a wide number of features geared to its main purpose: To create an environment that encourages everyone to enjoy the science of astronomy, the wonderful pastime of stargazing, and the pleasures of getting better connected to our universe. Indeed, the NAA has repeatedly been noted as being one of the more active amateur astronomy groups around.
For our Tuesday, October 20th Astronomy Fundamentals program, founding member Drew Carhart will lead us on a short trip through the NAA’s offerings, with some brief insights into the origin of various activities, and a discussion of how to get involved in more of them. Even if you’ve been a member for some time, there might be some “perks” out there that you’re not aware of!
This event is free and open to the public.
