Exploring the Solar System's Smallest Objects
Presenter: Kevin Cole, Harper College
As our space probes explore more of the solar system, and earth-based telescopes become more powerful, we’re learning more about the smaller bodies in our Sun’s family. Our speaker, Department Chair in Astronomy and Earth Science at Harper College, and a NASA Solar System Ambassador, will bring us up to date on the stories of Ryugu, Bennu, Ultima Thule and other minor bodies.
The public is welcome to attend, free of charge.
