Weather forecasting for amateur astronomers
Presenter: Drew Carhart, NAA
When you’re planning on going out stargazing, you need a bit more detail than average weather forecasts give. Just what time does “clearing tonight” mean, and how clear will that be? There are resources available to help you make a better guess as to how good the sky will be for observing, over your exact location, at the times you’re thinking about going out; long time observer and weather watcher Drew will share many of them, and how to put them to use.
The public is welcome to attend, free of charge.
This event is open to the public and free of charge.
